Tanna Projects distributes winter clothing to the local Lamangoiati community toward the end of April each year. Our clothing drive is crucial and extremely appreciated by the Elderly and Widows, single mothers and families living in this chilly and cold area on Tanna. We are now registering over 4000 people who come to accept clothes and necessary items. Some of these people walking 4 hours to receive clothes and thongs ie flipflops.
Many Companies in Australia help us by donating clothing every year and we could not do it without the generous support of these companies.
If you can assist in gathering these items in any way or help to count and pack them ready for shipping, please contact Tanna Projects asap...we, and the people of Tanna, will be very grateful.
